Devon Wooden Windows - Further Information

Devon Wooden Window

Our wooden window range currently includes the high performance casement window. This features an ovolo - or quarter round - profile on both the out frame and the sash. Our wooden windows also feature a Euro groove, commonly found in PVC windows, which allows us to use the high security Espagnolette locking mechanism.

All Devon wooden windows from Woodstock Windows feature combed joins on the outer frame and sash joints. For strength and rigidity, the transom and mullions utilise a single tenon joint or optional mechanical joint. If the wooden window is to be used as an emergency exit, then we can install Egress hinges, ensuring the windows meet UK fire regulations.

Further features of our Devon wooden window range includes a 4mm groove to accommodate varying colours of weather seals, a 42mm rebate which allows us to use a 24mm double glazed unit, and a trickle vent.
