It can take as little as 20 seconds to jemmy open a typical window lock. If that doesn't work, most ordinary friction hinges can be levered open just as easily.

Which is why all of our windows are fitted with the latest SAC Shootbolt locking system. The locks are activiated with the turn of a handle linked to 8 shoot bolts located around the frame keeping the Cylon Composite firms secured to the window frame. The bolts themselves are made from a high strength brass alloy making the window virtually impossible to force open;

Door Locks

All our doors are fitted with insurance approved locks, which feature twin tapered hooks, rollers and robust central dead bolt. The rollers smoothly guide the hook into position enabling the inward facing hooks with a 28mm projection to secure the door into the frame.

Stainless steel rolling cams	The two adjustable rolling cams are corrosion resistant and give a tight weather sealing on the locking side of the door. The rolling feature also allows for a light operation on the door handle due to less friction build up.
Stainless steel finger bolt	Matching stainless steel finger bolt - fully adjustable via the keep.
Independent adjustment on keep	Adjustable plates cater for variations in sealing of 1st and 2nd closing door leafs (+/- 2mm).
One piece keep	Allows accurate alignment. The keeps are marked to allow guaranteed alignment with the option to reset on site. (3 piece keep also available).
Anti-saw pins through deadbolt	Eliminates attack on deadbolt.
Opposing Hooks	Increased security against attack opposed to same directional hook bolts.
Sash Lifter option	Unique feature. Maintains correct sash to frame alignment, giving trouble free operation - less call outs for the installer.
