Our second podcast took us to the edge of North Devon where we went to Knowstone and had a chat with Mark Dodson who is the owner and Head Chef of the Michelin starred Masons Arms pub. Mark tells about how he fell in love with cooking starting with his first job as Catering Boy on board a boat. We also find out more about his food, why he chose North Devon and how he keeps the pub regulars happy while running a fine dining restaurant.  At the end of the chat Mark takes us to the back of the pub where he shows us his incredible view across Exmoor and explains what it means to him.

During our time with Mark he shares with us his must cook Devon inspired dish which features a produce that is abundant to the area. All chefs and their family like to eat out and the Dodsons are no different and some of their favourite places to eat in the area are The Grove in Kings Nympton, The Swan in Brampton as well as Braunton’s Squires Fish and Chips.
