Certass (Certification and Self-Assessment) is a UK government-approved Competent Person Scheme.
Being a Certass registered company means:
- All qualifying installations meet current building regulations.
- Our fitters are fully assessed and accredited, proving their skill and professionalism.
- We self-certify work to save you the hassle of applying for separate building control approval.
- You receive a certificate of compliance after installation (an important document for your home records and when selling your property so keep it in a safe place!)
In short, Certass registration is your guarantee that, where applicable, your new windows and doors are fitted correctly, safely and to government-approved standards.
N.B. Some commercial projects, new builds or external building works may fall outside of the Certass scheme. In these cases, we’ll clearly explain the process and relevant compliance routes.
