The French casement windows at Combas Farm is a key feature. Designed with a false mullion that disappears when the window is opened, they provide a completely unobstructed view of the stunning north Devon countryside. This clever design enhances the feeling of openness while maintaining the farmhouse’s traditional charm.  

Authentic Cottage Look with Astragal Bars with Modern Security

To preserve the property’s period features, the windows and doors were fitted with A-rated astragal bars. These decorative bars sit on top of the glass, perfectly replicating the heritage aesthetic while delivering modern energy efficiency. The uPVC doors were designed to echo the same traditional style as the windows, complete with astragal bars for a cohesive look. For added peace of mind, the windows also feature secure, lockable window handles, combining classic design with essential safety.
